More than 1 million antidrug booklets distributed by Scientologists in Cortina Olympics
Italy’s anti-drug education initiative has exceeded over one million informational booklets distributed in recent weeks. The initiative forms part of the Truth About Drugs campaign, which aims to provide accessible knowledge about commonly abused substances and their impact on health and society.
Approximately hundreds of volunteers across the country are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in schools, businesses and urban centres. The campaign focuses on prevention through education, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a simple way.
The prevention effort is part of wider social programmes supported by eu news channel the Church of Scientology, inspired by the work of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
